AHIT University Institute offers programs that are at the intersection of the arts, science, and technology. Our strong reputation is based on the relevance and impact of our programs. We offer programs that are designed to help our graduates create jobs or prepared for the challenging job market. Teaching at AHIT University Institute emphasizes the practical application of knowledge to alleviate poverty, build peace and stability, and drive development.
Our curriculum is unique in the following ways:

Vocational Programs
AHIT Vocational Institute (AVI) has been established to offer short term programs outside of the purview of the Ministry of Higher Education. These programs are accredited by the Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training, Yaounde, Cameroon. We currently offer the following programs as part of our vocational training portfolio:

Higher National Diploma (HND) Programs
The African Higher Institute of Technology (AHIT) is authorized by the Ministry of Higher Education in Cameroon (MINESUP) to train students for the following Higher National Diploma (HND) certificates. The certificates themselves are offered by MINESUP.

Bachelor’s Degree Programs
We can admit students directly into the bachelor’s programs, or through the HND programs. Students who already have the HND or other recognized higher education certification, can simply complete their degree program with us in one year. If you already hold an academic or professional certificate, please contact us to see if and how we can fast track your journey towards a respected and accredited degree.
Our degree students can study either onsite at our Mendong, Yaounde, campus, or online via our Virtual Learning Platform. Most of our students follow a hybrid approach, where they take some classes onsite and others online.
Our bachelor’s degree programs are offered under the mentorship of the University of Douala, which mentors programs offered by member institutions of the Saint Monica University System including AHIT University Institute. Our undergraduate degree programs include the following:

Master’s Degree Programs
Our graduate programs typically run for two years, and one requires a bachelor’s degree in order to gain admission in the master’s programs. Students who already have a post-graduate diploma (PGD) or any other recognized post-graduate certificate can simply complete their master’s degree program with us in one year. If you already hold an academic or professional certificate, please contact us to see if and how we can fast track your journey towards a respected and accredited master’s degree.

Degree Completion Programs
We offer online degree completion programs for those with prior academic credits from other accredited institutions or programs. If you already have the Higher National Diploma (HND), the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the State Registered Nurse Diploma in Cameroon or its equivalence, the Teacher’s Grade I Certificate in Cameroon or its equivalence, the Associate Degree, or any other recognized certificate, you can complete your degree within one year or more.
Non-Degree Completion Programs
Whether you want to take just a single course or complete pre-requisites for admission into other schools, feel free to study at AHIT Online. We offer pre-requisite courses for those seeking direct admission into nursing, pharmacy, and other health-related programs in the United States and other countries.
